Impact100 Sonoma is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, each member of whom is responsible for a particular aspect and function of operation. Board members also chair the committees of volunteers who keep the organization running. Debbe Noto Debbe Noto PresidentDebbe brings more than 30 years in the banking industry to her role, including experience in operations, relationship management, sales, marketing, and communications. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2017.
Barbara Insel Barbara Insel TreasurerBarbara has been deeply involved in the wine industry since 2004, most recently founding wine-business consultancy Insel & Co. in 2018. Over the previous 20+ years, she built a distinguished career with leading firms in international finance, investment strategy, and research, and taught at the college and professional level. Throughout, she has engaged in community development and charitable support activities. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2022.
Bobbie Collins Bobbie Collins SecretaryBobbie is a former regulatory compliance and risk management professional with more than 30 years of experience in banking and other industries, serving in staff, management, and consulting roles. Since retirement, she has tapped into her creative side to support nonprofit organizations and community projects. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2014.
Margery Mayer Margery Mayer Governance ChairMargery has been a program management leader with deep experience in high-tech manufacturing and pharmaceuticals. She built and sold a program management consulting company that advised executives of various industries, and holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral Science. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2022.
Molly Detwiler Communications Co-ChairMolly is a writer and editor with more than 30 years of corporate communications experience in staff, management, and consulting roles. She has built brands and developed voices for organizations of all kinds and sizes, from Fortune 500 companies to startups, including a number of local nonprofits. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2022.
Cristine McMillan Cristine McMillan Communications Co-ChairCristine is a marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting growth at Bay Area technology companies. She specializes in developing training programs, creating compelling content and communications, and building resources that engage diverse stakeholders. She is passionate about empowering organizations through clear, strategic messaging and effective enablement. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2022.
Ann Arabian Ann Arabian Membership Co-ChairAfter performing worldwide with Up with People, Ann spent 16 years as a United Airlines flight attendant before dedicating herself to raising her two children and volunteering at their schools. Most recently she served three years as president of the Sonoma Valley Newcomers Club and five years on the P.E.O. California State Chapter board, supporting educational opportunities for women. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2020.
Stephanie Chakmak Stephanie Chakmak Membership Co-ChairA former banking project manager, Stephanie specialized in international trade finance, acquiring skills that transitioned seamlessly from the boardroom to raising her two children. An avid community volunteer, she has served as a Los Angeles Zoo docent and Girl Scout leader, as well as conquered 52 peaks in Southern Nevada. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2018. |
Leslie Blankenship Leslie Blankenship Vice President/Grants Oversight Co-ChairLeslie is an attorney who has served as corporate counsel for several high-tech companies. Employing both her legal and business experience, she has spent the last 25 years serving on a number of local nonprofit boards. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2017.
Alison Thompson Alison Thompson Vice President/Grants Oversight Co-ChairAlison is a former management consultant and executive recruiter with extensive experience in strategy, talent, and organizational change. She led large-scale transformation projects for Fortune 500 clients and later conducted executive searches in the education technology sector. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2022.
Kathryn Rakow Kathryn Rakow Grants OversightKathryn is a former management consultant and software executive with experience in strategic management, marketing, product management, and operations and has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations. After retiring from the corporate world, she started a garden design business, which she still enjoys. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2022.
Jennifer Ramsey Jennifer Ramsey Grants OversightFor more than 30 years, Jennifer owned a company providing business services that helped hotel developers furnish luxury and business properties across the country. With dreams of retiring, she joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2018 and has served the grants review process since 2019. ![]() Cheryl Shimek Cheryl Shimek Engagement & Education ChairAfter 10 years as a cardiovascular critical-care nurse, Cheryl earned an MBA and began a career in the medical device industry. She spent more than 30 years leading multidisciplinary teams and companies in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of unique tools for monitoring and treating critically ill patients. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2019.
Linda Murphy Linda Murphy Events Co-ChairLinda has worked in corporate and social catering and events management for the past 30 years with clients in some of Silicon Valley’s top companies and organizations. She also has studied meditation and healing arts since 1985 and is currently an intuitive counselor. A part-time nonprofit employee and engaged community volunteer, she joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2023.
Gigi Pfleger Gigi Pfleger Events Co-ChairGigi is a realtor with Coldwell Banker Brokers of the Valley and previously owned and operated a design and decor business for more than 15 years. Known for relationship building, clear communication, and responsiveness, she brings a strong eye for detail and thoughtful execution to her role. She enjoys volunteering in the community and collaborating with others. She joined Impact100 Sonoma in 2022. |
