2026 VotinG Instructions

As you consider your voting choices, we ask you to vote not simply for those proposals that are your personal favorites, but for those that will most help realize our organization’s vision of a just and thriving Sonoma Valley.

HOW DO I PREPARE TO VOTE?

After the 2026 Impetus and 2027 Encore Grant finalists have presented their proposals at our Meet the Finalists event, you ’ll be able to find additional information about each finalist here on the Impact100 Sonoma website (you must be logged in as a member to view).

HOW DO I VOTE?

•   On Saturday, April 11, you will receive one email invitation from ElectionBuddy, our online voting system.

•   This email will appear to come from Impact100 Sonoma.

•   If you don ’t see the email by late afternoon, check your spam folder or other email accounts.

•   Email subject line: Vote Now! Impact100 Sonoma. The message will provide an individual link that will track your anonymous voting activity.

•   This link will take you to an online ballot where you will vote for both the Impetus Grant and Encore Grant recipients. You will be able to vote for up to, but no more than, fourteen [14] Impetus Grant recipients and one [1] Encore Grant recipient.

•    No ranking is involved. Simply choose your top fourteen [14] Impetus Grant finalists, then from those selections, choose one [1] Encore Grant finalist to receive an extra year of the same funding in 2027. Your Encore Grant vote MUST also be one of your Impetus Grant votes.

•    For help voting online, contact vote@impact100sonoma.org.

WHEN DO I VOTE?

•   You will be able to vote online as soon as you receive the email on April 11.

•   Online voting closes at 4:00 PM PDT on Friday, April 17.

•   No ballots will be accepted after 4:00 PM PDT on Friday, April 17.

•   No paper ballots will be provided.

WHAT HAPPENS IF...?

•   I do not receive the email from ElectionBuddy? First, check your spam folder. Second, if you have more than one email address, check the others. If the ElectionBuddy email is still not there, contact vote@impact100sonoma.org.

•   I have difficulty voting? Please contact vote@impact100sonoma.org.

FINALLY...

•   Join us at our Annual Grant Awards Celebration on Tuesday, April 28, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery tasting room. Watch for your invitation to this evening gathering, as we trade the traditional Saturday morning format for a relaxed, festive reception. Grant recipients will be honored without formal remarks. Bring a guest! We welcome community and prospective members to come toast the meaningful work of our nonprofit partners.
