For our 2025-26 season debut, come learn about our beautiful town square—the center of our local life—and what makes it so special. Jim Silverman will regale us with his favorite stories from the Sonoma Plaza’s past, touching on natural history, tribal people, Mexican and mission roots, Chinese men, Italian quarrymen, activist women, and folks who lived here not so long ago. He’ll also explain how these stories inspired the founding of Sonoma Plaza History Tour, a collaborative, multifaceted online project that brings yesterday alive for locals and visitors alike.
Save the date! We’ll kick off our fall membership drive and 2026 grants year during this very special event at the beautiful home of Gail Diserens. Watch for your invitation and plan to bring friends interested in joining our organization.
